A little digital painting I was working on today. This whole thing is very tricky.
It's not exactly finished, but I guess I'm at a loss in how to make it look less flat. Any advice/ crits? Lighting and depth are not my fortés. I partially referenced it from a photo. I kind of like some of the texture I got on the larger tree trunks, but it still looks flat and I feel like there's not enough variation in color.
Help is appreciated, of course.
